All my reviews are based on value for money, so a 15 Euro menu del dia might get a 5, some where charging 20 Euros for for a so so meal might get a 2 or 3. Selenes give you exactly what you might expect for the size of the bill. Would I go back yes. Is it now on my list of goto's? no. We had a very nice evening taking my parents in-laws out for a celebration birthday meal . The ambience was fine, was I expecting a bit of magic? Yes was I was, did it arrive no.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Last week week we had another great lunch with very friendly service and value for money. Just a point to consider regarding the daily menu, whereas the mains of were outstanding (perfect lubina and salmon), the amuses and starters were less interesting this time. An unexciting hummus and a salad with just plain tomatoes albeit with genuine mozzerella de buffalo, finishing with a supersalty 'hot' gazpacho (a too highly reduced vichyssoise, which improved by adding plain water) did not do a great job this time. Anyway, we hope next time the first of the menu will show lovely old-fashioned flavours again or may better eat à la carte (like that mega-delicous burrata 😋😋!).
